Classed as one of the world’s leading brands in art materials, Art to Art are proud to stock a wide range of high-quality Winsor & Newton art supplies. I'm not a fan of Cotman watercolor paper- in fact, I dislike it and strongly recommend against it, but I am a fan of Winsor and Newton's watercolor products in general. If I have to compare, I actually like the Craftamo 100% cotton paper better than this as well.Winsor and Newton has several watercolor papers under the ColArt parent brand- Winsor and Newton Watercolor Marker paper (review to come), Cotman watercolor paper, Bockingford watercolor paper (review to come), Arches, and Winsor and Newton Professional Water Colour paper. The price is really good for professional 100% cotton paper, but I’d still recommend getting Arches. I hope Winsor & Newton will offer a bigger size version of this. It also comes in 9×12″ but not 100% cotton like this one. It is better than cellulose paper, but because the paper is fairly small, I am not able to do too much on it. It does stay wet longer than cellulose paper but not as long as Arches. The paper buckled a bit with medium amount of water. I did four paintings following Let’s Make Art tutorials to test the paper. The Wash Test Testing the paper with washes However, I do find that Arches paper stays wet longer, and takes more washes before it buckles. It is cylinder mould made, just like Arches. Though the description does not say whether the paper is sized, the Amazon product description said it is internally and externally sized. 16.35 Get Fast, Free Shipping with Amazon Prime FREE Returns FREE delivery Sunday, July 16 on orders shipped by Amazon over 25 Or fastest delivery Saturday, July 15. ![]() ![]() This wired watercolour paper pad is made in Italy.
